If you do not feel at home in a large parish, Holy Family may meet your needs. Holy Family welcomes people from many walks of life and from all parts of the city. Many people have found Holy Family to be the welcoming and nurturing congregation for which they have searched. Holy Family accepts people for who they are and wherever they are on their journey. We are located on  the corner of 18th  and Izard St,  just a block north of 18th and Cuming St.

Jim Johnson, educator, long a member of Holy Family and editor of New Wine, has recently passed.  Prayers are asked for Jim and his family.

Masses Sundays – 10:00 am in the Church ,  and Saturdays – 5:30 pm in the Social Hall.

Sacrament of reconciliation by appointment.

We welcome those new to Omaha or the area north of downtown, and/or visiting Omaha. Please consider attending Holy Family during one of our services.

Change is occurring all around us: new construction at Siena-Francis; the offices of St. Vincent de Paul now housed in Holy Family’s rectory; multiple new housing units west of the church, and east; and an aging, smaller parish membership.  Deacon Al Aulner, Siena-Francis House Director Linda Twomey and Deacon Marty Smith of the St. Vincent de Paul Society will share their thoughts about what all this might mean in a panel discussion after the 10:00 a.m. Mass, 11:10 am, on Sunday, January 13th. Holy Family Catholic Church is located on 1715 Izard St (1 block north of 18th and Cuming).  Come and learn about our common effort to serve the homeless and needy people who come to our area for help.
